This Adjustable Tool Holder is designed for the exacting requirements of multi-fluted tools such as: Counterbars, reamers, and centers. Compensation can be made for
tools with cutting edges off center or on older machines where eccentricities must be corrected.
Four inward movement dog screws in the O.D. of the shank flange will adjust the cutter head to the exact center of the machine spindle or to a compensating off-set, if desired. Locking screws on the flange then clamp the head firmly to the shank with the cutter on center. The shank and bore are accurately ground and the entire tool is hardened for toughness.
Straight shank tools are adapted to this holder by EDWARD ANDREWS Bushings. For taper shank tools, use EDWARD ANDREWS Drill Sockets.
